It was no II that introduced me to the series and I still love that too. Is III my favourite ? Yes but you can still love all the others too in my book. I enjoy playing them all and have no problems at all in IV, VI or VII. Also unlike alot of people out there I just want to say I love ALL the HOMM series including the UBIsoft ones which come in for alot of criticism.

Songs of Conquest a pixel HOMM III looking variation, Sefirot Shards a mix of HOMM with cards in play also, and Fanstratics which will be the most similar to HOMM being developed by a developer who actually worked on HOMM III but will be a longer wait for this one as much earlier in development but the other two all due out in 2022 along with Dragoness so I will be in post HOMM heaven.
